English sessions, we will engage in a comprehensive exploration of comprehension texts drawn from a diverse range of historical periods. Our focus will include not only reading these texts but also analysing their themes, contexts, and stylistic elements, which will foster a deeper understanding of literature's evolution over time. 

In addition to our reading and analysis work, we will prioritise the development of writing skills. This will involve various writing exercises aimed at enhancing creativity, clarity, and coherence in written expression. We will also dedicate time to mastering essential aspects of spelling, punctuation, and grammar (often referred to as SPaG), ensuring that students understand these foundational elements and can apply them effectively in their writing. Ultimately, our goal is to cultivate proficient readers and writers who can appreciate literature while communicating their ideas with precision and flair.
